Backstop's website was not performing: it was dated and not interactive. We stepped in to change that.More about Backstop
While it had visitor numbers, the visitors were not particularly relevant nor engaged.
Better Brief was commissioned to revitalise their website, focusing on gaining better-quality visitors with an interest in social care.
We researched the target audience and found there to be a desire for a ‘value added’ service to draw visitors to the website.
We developed a system for collating industry news to be viewed on the website, plus integrated a system for daily news bites by email.
To meet recruitment goals, we integrated Backstop’s Job Management System (RDB Pro) for online job search and created a pre-qualification questionnaire for candidate registration to weed out irrelevant applicants.
- Backstop’s visitors are now more engaged. Their time on the site has increased by 80% and they have a low bounce rate of 35%
- The visitors are more relevant too, with 500+ people subscribing to the daily news email aimed at social care – receiving Backstop’s brand to their inbox daily
