SolarAid is a revolutionary charity which believes that through brilliant ideas, they can help solve some of the biggest problems facing humanity. Our brief was to deliver a website that inspires people. We did just that, complete with:
- Social media integration, with YouTube, Flickr, Facebook and Twitter featuring prominently in the website
- Supporter wall with People, Pictures, Movies and Buzz about SolarAid – all dynamically sourced from social media
- Optimised donation process to convert more visitors into monthly supporters
Following an impressive online campaign supported by Better Brief, SolarAid won the 2013 Google Global Impact Challenge award with a £500,000 prize. SolarAid continues to garner widespread support across the globe.
